The restaurant is s family style restaurant. Awesome soups , and a killer club  sandwich which features in house roasted turkey.
Omg. I went there last Friday and had their fish and chips. They were THE BEST fish and chips I've ever had. The fish , which was cod , was battered and fried to a golden brown. The fish was so moist  and flaky. I had to resist the temptation to order more.
Don't judge , but I ordered it with a side of their house made hash  browns. Not that frozen crap. Real hash browns. Sooo good !! Oh , I almost forgot , try their clam chowder !!

this is a great old fashioned family restaurant. It's clean, nicely decorated (recently renovated), and the staff is very friendly. All of the favorite items you'd expect from such a place are on the menu (hot turkey sandwich, hot beef, meatloaf, etc.) But, there are some surprisingly good items you wouldn't expect like prime rib. The Greek salad and saganaki are fantastic. Honestly, I've never had a bad meal here. Usually i go there because I am craving something that they make and I know it will be good. The prices are low. The soups are always top notch. I would never hesitate to recommend this restaurant. It's definitely a family favorite.

I've been to this place several times now, and I've been won over. For starters, they have a large menu. They also have daily specials. They give very generous portions with full meals. With dinners, you get the typical soup or salad, the entree with a side and a dessert.

My favorite dinner item to order is the wing dings. Most places seem to give between 6-8 wings per meal. Nick's has two options: you can get an 8 or 12 piece. There's not even a huge difference in price for the 12 piece. I am a HUGE fan of sweet potato fries and theirs are fantastic, which is surprising for it being a family restaurant.

I don't typically order an appetizer but on my last visit I decided to try the fried mushrooms. They were extremely good. The batter they use tasted homemade and it was delicious and perfectly crispy without being overdone. I'd get them again, for sure. When it comes to soups, I am a big chicken noodle fan and theirs is pretty good. They also give bread baskets in addition to warm dinner rolls which I find to be a nice touch. The only problem is the portions and amount of food you get is quite a bit so I'm usually too full to eat the bread! They are a Greek establishment so they have many Greek options on the menu. I am not a huge fan of shish-ka-bob, but my stepdad is and he really enjoys theirs.

The only time I had a minor complaint was a few months back when they said they were training a new cook. The food was a little bit 'off' but they seemed to have ironed out those issues. On the most recent visit, a gentleman (I'm not sure if he is the owner, or just part of the owner's family) came around to each table to make sure everything was going well, to chat and to see if anyone needed anything. He was really pleasant and welcoming.

If you want to go to a family restaurant with good food, you should definitely consider giving Nick's a try.

I love going to Nick's when I'm home visiting my parents! They always have excellent customer service, the portions are perfect, and the food is traditional home cooking. There aren't many 'mom and pop' diners near me, so it's always a treat to come here and support a family business. Today we went for breakfast and I had the Mexican omelette with home fries and it was the perfect. My mom had the Nick's skillet and my dad had French toast with blueberries and whip cream. The prices are fair for the quality and portions here. Their dinner menu and specials are great as well, and one of our favorites is the stuffed cabbage!
